These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Back2You, a lost-and-found platform operated by Artisam Labs ("we", "us", "our"), including this website and the Back2You application (together, the "Services").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent lost or found reports, or claim items that do not belong to you.
• Infringe the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to access unblurred photos, other users' data, or staff-only features without authorization.
• Transmit spam, malware, or harmful content, or interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Services except as expressly permitted.

3. Accounts and Reports

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for keeping your account credentials secure. Institutions operating a Back2You instance are responsible for administering their staff access. We may suspend or remove reports, claims, or accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Item Claims and Handling

Back2You facilitates the matching and return of items; the custody, verification, and release of physical items is handled by the operating institution at its collection points. A match notification is not a guarantee that an item is yours, and final verification decisions rest with the institution. We are not a bailee of, and do not take possession of, any physical items.

5. Services Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but they are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the Services — text, graphics, logos, designs, and software — belongs to Artisam Labs or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Institution names and logos displayed on white-label instances belong to their respective owners. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Services without prior written permission.

7. User Submissions

By submitting content (such as item descriptions and photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide.

8. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artisam Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including loss of, damage to, or failure to recover any physical item.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Artisam Labs, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
